Participation Terms
Good energy. Clear expectations. Last updated: October 9, 2026
Welcome to COACH MARCEL™!
Our goal is simple: help kids develop athletic skills through speed, agility, fun, teamwork, and friendly competition.
These terms explain how our training programs, memberships, attendance rules, and scheduling arrangements work.
Important: Enrollment and billing are not open yet. The information below describes our planned program. Final enrollment terms will be provided before registration and payment become available.
1. Age Groups & Training
COACH MARCEL offers game-based athletic training designed for children.
Our initial planned age groups are:
- Ages 7–8
- Ages 9–10
- Ages 11–12
We may introduce additional age groups for younger or older children in the future.
Training groups are organized by age, available space, and appropriate activity levels.
Each session lasts approximately 60 minutes and may include:
- Speed and acceleration challenges
- Agility and footwork games
- Reaction and coordination activities
- Change-of-direction exercises
- Team competitions
- Decision-making games
Activities are adapted to participants' ages and abilities.
We do not guarantee specific athletic performance improvements or competition results.
2. Membership Plans
Our planned memberships are:
ROOKIE — $99 per 4 weeks
- 4 scheduled training sessions
- 1 session per week
- 60 minutes per session
- Reserved training spot
ALL-STAR — $159 per 4 weeks
- 8 scheduled training sessions
- 2 sessions per week
- 60 minutes per session
- Two reserved weekly training spots
There is no enrollment or registration fee.
No drop-in sessions are offered.
Each training group is limited to a maximum of 10 children, including any approved trial participants.
Membership availability depends on confirmed schedules, approved facilities, and available spaces.
3. Complimentary Welcome Session
Every new child may participate in one complimentary Welcome Session, subject to advance registration and available space.
The Welcome Session is free and is provided in addition to the paid sessions included in a future membership.
A paid membership is not required to attend the complimentary session.
Participation in the Welcome Session does not automatically create a paid membership or authorize any future charges.
All required parental registration documents and participation waivers must be completed before attendance.
4. Payments & Renewals
Memberships are planned to be billed in four-week periods.
Payments will be collected in advance of each training period.
When automatic renewal becomes available, parents will receive clear information about:
- The membership price
- Billing frequency
- Scheduled training sessions
- Renewal terms
- How to cancel
- The date of the next payment
Recurring charges will only be enabled with the required authorization.
Parents may cancel future renewals using the cancellation method explained during enrollment.
Cancellation normally ends future billing and does not automatically refund an already-started training period.
Any cancellation and refund rights required by applicable law will remain available.
COACH MARCEL will not charge for services more than 31 days in advance.
5. Reserved Training Spots & Attendance
Your membership reserves a dedicated training spot for your child.
Because each group has limited availability, that space remains reserved even if your child does not attend.
Sessions missed due to personal scheduling conflicts, vacations, voluntary absences, or late arrival are generally non-refundable.
Missed sessions do not automatically carry over into a future training period.
Make-up sessions for voluntarily missed training are not guaranteed.
Parents are encouraged to notify us when their child will be absent.
COACH MARCEL may offer exceptions as a courtesy when reasonable, but is not required to provide them unless applicable law says otherwise.
6. Weather-Related Changes
Safety always comes first.
Outdoor training may be postponed when conditions make activities unsafe or unsuitable.
This includes thunderstorms, lightning, heavy rain, slippery fields, extreme temperatures, or severe weather warnings.
When COACH MARCEL postpones a session, we will arrange a suitable replacement whenever reasonably possible.
A session may also be moved to an approved indoor location when available.
Parents will be informed of changes as early as reasonably possible.
No additional training fee will be charged for a replacement session.
If we cannot reasonably provide a paid session or suitable replacement, we will offer an appropriate credit or refund.
7. Scheduled Breaks, Holidays & Temporary Closures
COACH MARCEL may schedule temporary breaks or closures, including seasonal breaks, holidays, staff vacations, or facility-related interruptions.
We will make reasonable efforts to announce planned closures in advance.
We may adjust the training calendar, extend the training period, or arrange replacement sessions to ensure families receive the training sessions included in their paid memberships.
We will not count a session as completed when COACH MARCEL cancels it without providing the training.
When an extended closure prevents us from providing scheduled training, recurring billing may be paused or adjusted.
If paid sessions cannot reasonably be delivered or replaced, affected families will receive an appropriate credit or refund.
All arrangements remain subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
8. Substitute Coaches
COACH MARCEL may occasionally use a qualified substitute coach when the regular coach is unavailable.
Substitute coaches must meet applicable program safety requirements and be appropriately screened and prepared for working with children.
The substitute coach will follow COACH MARCEL's training, safety, and conduct standards.
Parents will be notified when a substitute coach is scheduled, whenever reasonably possible.
Sessions delivered by an approved substitute coach count as regular membership sessions.
We do not guarantee that every training session will be personally conducted by Coach Marcel.
9. Cancellations by COACH MARCEL
COACH MARCEL may cancel, postpone, or adjust sessions when necessary for safety, illness, staffing, facility availability, or other reasonable operational circumstances.
When we cancel a paid session, we will provide a suitable replacement, extend the training period, or issue an appropriate credit or refund.
Families will not lose a paid training session simply because COACH MARCEL was unable to provide it.
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate schedule changes promptly.
10. Parent & Guardian Responsibilities
A parent or legal guardian must remain on-site throughout each training session.
COACH MARCEL is an organized athletic training program and is not a drop-off childcare service.
Parents must provide accurate registration, contact, and emergency information.
Children should arrive:
- Wearing appropriate athletic clothes and shoes
- With sufficient drinking water
- Ready for physical activity
- In suitable health to participate
Parents should tell us about relevant medical concerns, allergies, injuries, or activity restrictions.
Children who are ill, injured, or unable to participate safely should not train.
11. Health & Safety
Training involves physical activity and carries inherent risks.
These may include falls, strains, sprains, collisions, and other injuries.
Participants must follow all safety instructions and use equipment as directed.
A child must stop immediately and notify the coach if they experience pain, dizziness, unusual fatigue, or other concerning symptoms.
COACH MARCEL may pause or stop participation when necessary for safety.
A parent or legal guardian must complete the required participation waiver, health information, and emergency authorization documents before the child attends any session.
These terms do not replace the separate participation waiver or medical authorization.
12. Sportsmanship & Behavior
COACH MARCEL believes in friendly competition, teamwork, respect, and responsibility.
Children are expected to:
- Follow the rules of each challenge
- Treat teammates and opponents with respect
- Listen to safety instructions
- Avoid dangerous or intentionally harmful behavior
- Respect training equipment
- Show good sportsmanship
Winning and losing are part of competition.
Bullying, deliberate physical harm, and repeated unsafe behavior are not acceptable.
COACH MARCEL may issue warnings, pause participation, or remove a participant from an activity when reasonably necessary.
Any termination of paid enrollment and related financial consequences will be handled under the enrollment agreement and applicable law.
13. Photos & Videos
Training sessions may be photographed or recorded when appropriate permissions have been obtained.
Photos and videos may be used for COACH MARCEL marketing, website content, or social media only with the required authorization.
A separate photo and video permission form will be provided.
Parents may decline promotional media permission without affecting their child's eligibility to participate.
Please respect the privacy of other children when taking personal photos or videos during training.
14. Changes to Schedules & Programs
Training schedules, venues, age groups, and activity formats may change based on enrollment, facility availability, safety requirements, and operational needs.
We will notify affected families about material changes.
If a material change prevents us from providing the agreed training services, we will offer an appropriate alternative, credit, or refund as required by law.
We may expand our programs to additional age groups or locations in the future.
15. Cancellation & Refund Rights
Memberships are intended to reserve limited training capacity.
Voluntarily missed sessions are generally non-refundable.
However, no provision in these terms removes or limits any cancellation, refund, or other consumer right provided by applicable law.
Any legally required cancellation notices and refund procedures will be included in the final enrollment agreement before payment becomes available.
16. Privacy & Personal Information
Parent and child information is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
We collect information needed to manage memberships, provide training, communicate with families, and support participant safety.
Please review our Privacy Policy for details.
17. Program Availability & Contact
Training dates, locations, and enrollment opening dates will be confirmed before paid registration begins.
Joining the interest list does not reserve a training spot or create a membership.
No online payment or membership checkout is currently available.
We aim to keep website information accurate and current. Unintentional errors or outdated details may occur, and we will correct them when we become aware of them. This notice does not limit any legal rights, agreed commitments or our obligations.
